Had a great time with Tour Guide Levin and Angela! English was very good with lots of good insight on all the stops along the way. Plenty of time to take photos and explore each stop with some breathtaking views! Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to experience Mt. Fuji close up.

Jordan

Had a great tour with Shiho-san. The meeting point was close to public transport and we left on time, the bus was comfortable. We were lucky to have snow the previous day and Mt Fuji was completely visible, made for beautiful photos. Buffet lunch was plentiful and delicious. The Fuji airways flight simulator was too much fun and would definitely do this again. The stops along the tour could be a little longer as we arrived back in Tokyo an hour early but overall had a great time.

We decided to book for the Mount Fuji tour on New Year's Eve. Needless to say it was one of the most memoriable and spectacular New Year's Eve we had. Firstly, it was very well organised. Veltra replied promptly to our emails when we asked about pick-up information etc. On the day, the tour guide picked us up on time and was very clear about bus instructions. We were well informed throughout the whole tour, about the schedule, what to do in each location, what to eat/buy, where to best take pictures etc. Schedule wise it was very punctual. The bus was comfortable and clean and the tour guide (Mario) was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We had enough time for each stop. The perfect amount of time actually, there was enough time to take photos, shop and do the essential things. Our recommendation is to definately buy the tour with lunch included (there isn't much other options around). At the Ninja village you could either just take a longer lunch or have a shorter lunch + watch the ninja show (note this is not included in the tour and you will have to buy the ticket there). Another recommendation is try to use the bathroom before the first bus ride, because it is 1.5 to 2 hours long with no breaks in between (and the same goes to the ride back). Overall it was a very good tour. Punctual, professional and well-organised. If you only have one day to explore Mt. Fuji we would definately recommend this tour, it makes it a lot easier to hit all the major sites.

It is my 3rd time in Tokyo and first time trying this tour package. Overall it is a great experience, the tour was well organized with smooth transportation, sightseeing planning, good food and a great tour guide. Jane, our tour guide is very kind and helpful, she shared a lot of knowledge of Japan with us on the bus, helped people taking pictures, and did a great job reminding people about the time at each site. It is this kind of attention made us feel worry free and enjoyed a great day.

We booked a last minute Mount Fuji tour from Tokyo with Lake Kawaguchi, Oshino Hakkai & Ninja Village. Our pick up point was at the Apple Ginza store, which is very convenient to the place we stayed. The bus was very clean and comfortable and comes with free Wi-Fi access. Our tour guide Levin was very friendly and good sense of humor and fluent in English. We were lucky as the trip was perfect with clear sunny weather and we made our first stop at the Lake Kawaguchi. The view is awesome and fantastic. The blueberry ice-cream was so delicious. Lunch buffet at the Ninja restaurant was pretty decent and in fact, I chose a “halal” meals just to get an experience of the service. Really well done, as they prepared a separate utensils and meals with clear “halal” signage. To my Muslim friends, they do cater for your needs. We made another stop at the Oshino Hakkai and the view of villages are so serene (I mean if without all the tourist ). I would consider to spending one night here to enjoying the view and spend more time in this village. Our final moment, the majestic Mount Fuji. We were made it to the 5th station, thanks to the clear sunny weather. We wished we could spend a bit longer time here. They are so many tourists, so you need to rush to capture the good spots. The Fuji 4D simulator ride at the theme park was something special and it was a good experience. We depart and arrived Shinjuku station about 6.00pm. Overall assessment: 10/10 ratings and I would recommend to others as well.

It was a pretty nice experience to have opted for this tour. Tour Guide was very friendly and fluent in English. We visited around 5 places with a lot of scenic views of Mount Fuji. Unfortunately, we couldn't go to 5th Station of Mount Fuji because it was closed that day due to snow. But overall it was a fun experience. We also did some origami while we were riding the bus back to Tokyo and the tour guide had some gifts for us too. There was buffet in food and both vegetarian and Halal options were available. However, the halal option just had seafood and vegetarian dishes.

We booked a tour last minute, but we were lucky to have very good weather for winter and a very clear view of Mount Fuji. We were originally scheduled to go to the 5th station, but previous snow prevented that and we only made it to the 1st station which really isn’t much to speak of. Despite that, we had a great tour and our tour guide, Yoshi, was especially good. I would recommend the experience overall with the caveat that weather may not always be on your side.

Wonderful tour guide, Hiroko, who did everything to see to the needs of the participants. She gave very interesting and informative accounts about Japanese culture and history. She spoke good English. Lunch spread was good and the bus ride was safe and comfortable. The itinerary was also well-planned. The pick up and meeting smoothly done because of Hiroko. Only minus point was that a photo of the pick up point included in the website would have made it easier for participants to know where to wait. A sign posted at the pick up point will also be helpful. Would highly recommend the tour

From the moment the tour started at the love statue in Shinjuku, the service and staff was top notch and very organized. The bus itself was very clean and comfortable seating. Plenty of leg room for myself at 6’3” which made the ride up to Mt Fuji easy. The tour guide was the best I have ever had the pleasure to experience. Hope fully you also get Levin as your guide. Incredible sense of humor, knowledge, and perfect English. Learned so much during the tour. We were lucky enough to see Mt Fuji on one of the clearest days of the year and all the stops provided excellent view points. The buffet at Ninja village was top notch and was surprised how good it was for a day tour. I especially enjoyed the Japanese curry and rice. We were also able to reach stage 5 of the mountain which is as high as the vehicles can go. The view from here was breathtaking. Next time I come to Japan I will be sure to book again with this company if they also offer climbing/ hiking tours. On the decent from stage 5, we were able to be provided the boat cruise on one of the 5 lakes of mt Fuji. Once again, highly organized and great views of the Mountain. Probably over 100 pictures taken over the tour. I give the company 10/10 and will recommend to others.

We had such an awesome time with this Mt. Fuji tour. The activities are well-organized, we enjoyed walking around the villages, taking photos with Ninja and beautiful Mt. Fuji almost every where we went to. The lunch was super delicious and since it was a buffet so our 4 kids enjoyed all their favorite food. Ami is such a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide, we loved the way she taught us how to make a small origami and I like her poems too. The price of the tour is higher than others but it is worth the money.

Lily

The tour guide Akreti-Aki was really helpful and very nice The foods was good. Overall very much satisfied.

Absolutely brilliant tour, very welll organised, got a great taste of japanese culture aswel as a spectacular view of mt Fuji. Our tour guide, Yoshi, was so freindly, knowledgable and enthuthiastic aswel as knowing all the best photo spots, he even showed us how to do some origami on the bus. We got to see Mt Fuji at lots of different angles too and were super lucky with the weather! The food was delicious too!

The tour was really amazing. Mt. Fuji is majestic, and Ninja village was great. I had a great time in the ninja show. Our guide Mr. Yoshi was made our trip more fun, really nice and respectful. I wish you would extend the time in each event. Thank you

Really great tour. We got picked up on time from a hotel near to where we were staying which was very handy and well organised. Our guide, Levin, had perfect English, was very helpful and informative and made the tour extremely enjoyable. There were plenty of break stops along the way and the bus was very comfortable. Due to unforeseen traffic our itinerary changed however this was handled really well and we still got to make each stop as planned. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great but Levin still made each stop fun and interesting. The lunch provided was excellent food and we got to experience the traditional Japanese culture. We didn't have much expectations for the 4D experience but it was actually brilliant and we really enjoyed it. Overall it was a really great trip and we would highly recommend it to anyone who's thinking of doing the Mount Fuji tour.

Although it took almost double time to get to the first destination because the day we attended tour was just before holiday and everyone went their hometown, the guide Hiroshi-san was entertaining us and taught us many aspects of Japan! That was shame that at some destination we had only a half of normal time, so we had to rush seeing the places, but that's due to the traffic jam and couldn't be helped. Thanks to guide's tip, we were able to get a good blueberry ice cream!

Queensland

It was an amazing tour! Mario and Abe-san (our driver) were amazing! Thank you so much for thia wonderful tour. It was so much fun. It was even better because the weather was so great. We were able to see Mt. Fuji clearly! I highly recommend this tour! Lunch was yummy, too!

Cassie

I booked the tour one day before and was happy that I did it for myself and 2 cousins. The trip turn up to be good except that we can't see the whole view of Mount Fuji due to weather. The trip end with a good bonus to see a 4 D show about Mount Fuji. Good experience, recommend Day your.

Joon

You can get to see Mount Fuji most part of the tour. The tour guide Jack was very informative and helpful. The view of Mt Fuji from Lake Kawaguchi was awesome. I recommend having the blueberry ice creams they sell there. It was very yummy. The 8 ponds around Mt Fuji at Oshino had crystal clear water and it was very beautiful. From there we proceeded to the Ninja village where we had a good buffet lunch and played some Ninja games. We tried throwing some Ninja star shaped weapons on targets, went in to the maze and got lost several times. Took some cool pics with the Ninjas. From there we went to Fuji Q Highland and I must say that this was one of the highlights of the tour. The 4D show was AWSOME and I wish I experience that again. You get to fly over Mt Fuji and see it in different seasons. Overall the tour was very good and good value for money

Kumi

I had a wonderful time on this trip. Our tour guide Levin was great. He was very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and entertaining. He took great care to insuring that we all had the best experience possible, which included recommendations about local treats, shopping, and interesting things that could be done alon the way. He went above and beyond the tour requirements by answering many of my questions about Japan, and gave great recommendations regarding places to eat and things to do in Tokyo. The trip itself was fun, we got very lucky and were able to see Mt. Fuji throughout the entire trip. The lunch at Ninja village was delicious. The ninja village would be a fantastic experience for the children. I wish I realized that even though it was 80 plus degrees in Tokyo, it's going to be very cold on the 5th station( about 50 degrees), a sweater would have been great to have up there. The 4D ride was fantastic! We got to see Mt. Fuji in all its glory. I would greatly recommend this trip to families traveling with children. The only negative comment is the amount of time we got to spend at each stop. If it was extended by 1 hour to 2 hours the expyeiyld have been even better and we wouldn't feel like a marathoners. Trying to absorb everything in under 30 min.

Marina

This tour was definitely the highlight of our trip to Japan! Our tour guide Blair was amazing and very informative. Not only did he keep us on schedule but he also gave us extra time at the stop on Mt. Fuji because it was such a nice clear day! All of the stops were very fun and the blueberry ice cream at the lake is a must eat! We we're lucky enough to see Mt Fuji from most of our stops that day including the lake. The 8 ponds also had a lot to do and we bought most of our souvenirs there. The lunch at ninja village is definitely recomended. And the 4d ride was a perfect finish to the whole day. If I had to change something about the tour I would possibly cut out either the ninja village or the 4d ride just to allow for more time at the other stops since it felt a little rushed. The value for your money is amazing and I will be telling all my friends to book this specific tour and request our amazing guide!! Blair was even helpful enough to give us recommendations for the rest of our trip on our bus ride back to shinjuku. Thank you for an amazing experience and we will definitely be back!

Daniel Mitchell

The weather was perfect, it was very clear to see the top of Mt Fuji. The guide was very talkative and informative. We really enjoyed our trip. Ninja village was very attractive.

Cindy

we had so much fun in oshino ninja village.the tourist guide is very knowledgeable.he gives us additional time to stroll around in each of our sight seeing landmarks.the lunch was superb!

We had a great view of Mt. Fuji, even on the road to the sites! Levin was very entertaining and informative. The 4-D ride was an amazing experience.

Leni

We really wanted to visit Fuji, and I was looking a way to do it by our selfes. Then I saw the Veltra tour and I knew that if we went to see all those things by ourselfs, we wouldn't see even half of it. I was right and I'm realy happy we took the tour. We saw everything on the list, exept we only went to the 4th stop on Fuji and not to the 5th like it said on the program. At least we got on the mountain a bit :) I wish we had more time in the Ninja Vilage. We had the best lunch (the one included in the tour for 2000¥ per person for all you can eat), and we immediately went on the Ninja show for 850¥ (not included in the price of the tour). After that we barelly had the time to visit the gift shop and didn't even strolled through the village it self. I gues we should've hurry with the eating. All and all we couln't see all that by public transport, and it would've cost a lot more. Thank you for the tour, Elena from Skopje, Macedonia.

Elena

Blair was great! He was very knowledgeable and provided a great experience at each stop!

Tim

What a amazing tour ! We were very fortunate to have a clear day and amazing views of Mt Fuji Everything on this tour was great, the amount of time we stopped in each place and the traditional lunch was yummy Perfect tour for those who want to see a lot and the bus ride is comfy I couldn’t fault our tour guide, he was lovely and funny and entertaining and helped us all take amazing photos. He even switched around the schedule and we got to go to the ropeway instead of the 4D ride thing and at the rope way we got the most incredible pictures of mt Fuji. We were also very fortunate to able to go all the way to fifth station I would highly recommend this tour

It was an excellent tour to Mt. Fuji! We enjoyed it very much. Our guide, Jack, was amazing and knowledgeable. He explained everything about Fuji and other attractions. His descriptions about Japanese culture, food and history were quite enlightening. Definitely recommend It!

Nalin Kitulwatte

Tour was great, although the information on where to find the tour bus is a bit confusing from the emails.

Huda

The tour was worth every penny. Went above and beyond to get us the view of MT Fuji . The blueberry ice cream at the first stop was to die for . The 3D ride was great and lunch at the ninja village was good . Recommend this tour for everyone.

We had a great day! Though the bus arrived late for almost an hr for the pick up time- the tour guide KIM manage to make up the time we've missed. You need someone like Kim- the Korean guy in your company, he did a great job!

Ana

It was a great travel experience with VELTRA tours. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Miyuki was our guide and she took good care of our tour bus group always checking that we are complete and no one was missing. I would highly recommend this tour group should you have any plans to visit Japan

The weather was unfortunately not good. We could not see Mt. Fuji due to the fog. But the whole trip was fun. We got to see the 4D Mt. Fuji with Fuji Airways. Better than nothing. The tour guide was fun and helpful as well.

The trip is fun. Our tour guide seiji-san is cheerful, has good command of english and thoughtful. He shared information on the places we went to. I didnt get to see the peak of mt. Fuji because it was very foggy that day. Nevertheless, i enjoyed the very cold breeze. The 4d experience of mt. Fuji was a blast.. Fun, fun, fun. I guess the only thing that i regret is that time allotted for each activity is quite short. But it is understandable considering the time constraint we had and the traffic that day. All in all, i enjoyed the experience. Thank you veltra, seiji san and funabashi san for driving us safely backto shinjuku.

Karen

We enjoy it really much......thanks also for our tour guide Madam Madoka for introduced Japanese culture to us. >_<

the tour was good.the tourist guide was friendly.the best part was at the oshino ninja village,we were able to watch the ninja show.it would be advisable to get this tour during spring time,to see the mt. fuji clearly.

We went on this tour the day after a typhoon, this was a good and bad choice. Good because we had extremely clear skies to see the mountain from far away. Bad because the road up to the 5th station was closed. The Guide was informative and funny, the tour bus was comfortable and clean. Lunch was really tasty buffet and the Ninja show(an extra cost) was very cool. all in all it was amazing.

Unfortunately the weather was not great so we were not able to see Mt. Fuji during this trip. However, the trip was eventful overall. Our guide Shiho-san was excellent. She was attentive and friendly. The lunch was delicious with chicken hotpot and buffet. You get to take a picture with a ninja during lunch. There wasn't enough time to actually explore the ninja village. We were only there for lunch, souvenirs, and washrooms. Make sure you check the weather before booking the trip.

Angel

We loved our tour guide, Ami. She was very informative, answered all our questions, and took good care of us throughout the tour from pickup to drop off. On the tour itself, get the blueberry soft serve at the first stop, it was delicious! Lunch was good, however, the ninja show is for kids, not really for adults and was mostly in Japanese so don't think it's worth the extra cost. Beautiful views of mt Fuji at all stops which was great. The simulator ride was fun too. A number of the places took cash only, so make sure you have Japanese yen on you, we missed out on some shopping because we didn't. We got back at a very decent time to the city so we appreciated that as well.

My family and I really enjoyed this well organised tour, they were very informative. We love all the view points Mt Fuji, it was simply breathtaking. Also, our tour guide Hiro was very helpful and attentive. It was very cloudy at the start of the tour but once we arrived at the fifth station of Mt Fuji the clouds cleared up, so we were lucky enough to get some good photos of Mt Fuji. Highly recommend this tour to families!

Overall this was a well run bus tour with our pickup from Shinjuku. Very comfortable bus departed around 9am and drove around 2 hrs before first activity of the day. While some of the stops felt a bit rushed, the upside is not only going half way up Mt Fuji to 5th station, but also including a few other fun activities. We were fortunate to have a clear day with just a bit of cloud, and got a great view & photos of Mt Fuji peak, which is not always possible due to weather conditions. Oshino Hakkai & Ninja Village were pretty & interesting, and the lunch was an exceptional buffet, far better than I expected and absolutely worth the small extra charge. The Fuji 4D simulator ride at the theme park was unexpected and good fun. Personally I felt that the extra time required for the Lake Kawaguchi stop was not worth the effort, too quick and really just another pretty lake for a quick photo. I would recommend a separate trip to Lake Hakone area for this purpose. Guide Guilia was very enthusiastic and informative, and while the trip was conducted in English, I noted that she spoke several other languages fluently. The only issue I had with the day I chose, was that it was a public holiday, and the easy 2 hr morning trip took over 4 hrs on the return because of very heavy traffic. In fairness while this was totally beyond control of the tour company and I offer no blame at all to them, they actually managed to minimise a bad situation as the bus driver skilfully negotiated B roads back to Shinjuku and by avoiding the expressway likely achieved the 4 hr return instead of a 5-6 hr disaster. I would not recommend doing this day trip on a public holiday, but I would not hesitate to otherwise recommend this tour to friends travelling to Tokyo in the future.

It's easy to find the meeting point. Mt Fuji is simply awesome !!

Was a great tour, good weather allowed to see the scenery and mt Fugi well. The fresh spring water in Oshino was cold and refreshing. Mario was a great tour guide, was able to share first hand experience about climbing Mt Fugi. If only I had more time I would come back to climb trail. But fortunately the clouds broke so was able to get pictures of the summit. The Fugi simulation was nice allowed to see and experience the different seasons on the mt. Would have been nice to have a little more time at sites but with full day saw alot. Thanks!!

Kathy

Great trip to Mt Fugi. We're fortunate with good weather had great view of the mts and scenery. The little towns were cute, would have been nice to have more time to walk around but a very full day. The fresh spring water was really cold and refreshing. Mario was very informative tour guide. Had hands on experience climbing Mt fugi, able to give first hand account about climbing Mt fugi. Thanks for the experience.

Being our first time to Japan, we obviously had to say hello to Fuji-san. Signed up via Veltra with Japan Panoramic Tour Agency. We were kinda anxious as it was also our first experience signing up with an online provider (sight-unseen) and we weren't sure what to expect. Our fears were unrealised, thankfully! We were met at the designated pick-up point in Shinjuku and started our journey to Mount Fuji in a comfy bus. Along the way, we had opportunities to admire the vastness of Lake Kawaguchi, enjoy yummy blueberry ice-cream, collect cool spring water in Oshino Hakkai, and have filling lunch in a Ninja Village before getting in some fun being 'ninja-like'. We even had a cool photo shot with a ninja! At the 5th station stop, Mount Fuji left us breathless and awed. We were so blessed to catch sight of it before it did a 'vanishing' trick in the mist! The fabulous 4D experience with Fuji Airways gave us wonderful sights of Fuji-san, which we otherwise would not have had. Although it seemed a bit rushed at times, on the whole this was a day trip well worth the time and expense. For sure, we had a great day up the mountain!

elpeloh

Would've preferred more explanation at the locations. The details were only in the bus on the way to the locations and details were not that much. Our tour guide was very lovely though! :)

Hanis

Good trip. If there's a little more time to ride the roller coaster at the 4D theme park, it would be even better!

My family has been in Japan for few months now, but we did not quite make it to Mount Fuji since it is not as convenient as visiting most of the other sites. As a result, we booked the tour from Veltra which was a good idea. Although the price seemed on higher side, the offer tempted us to go ahead. The bus was good and the seats comfortable with good leg space. We were glad to have been offered an entire row of 4 seats all for ourselves, 2 + 1 kid. Free wi-fi on the bus was a bonus. Due to long weekend, there was more traffic which led to a delay of about an hour and the itinerary was changed, as we first headed to Oshino Ninja village for an early lunch. This place was pretty good with few options for veggies too. We got to click pics with Ninjas. Next stop was at Oshino Hakkai village with lovely fresh water, clear ponds and country-side houses which was picturesque. We then headed to Mt Fuji 5th station where the clouds played a spoil sport and hence we could not get a great view of the mountain. The time allotted here was less than 30 min which I felt was too less, as this was the main site of visit, expected at least an hour. The 4D activity was broken that day and was cancelled. Hence, as an alternate we got a boat ride at lake Kawaguchi and later went to the other side of the lake where we were in for some luck to see the Mt Fuji peak. Overall a good experience, the guide Jack kept us engaged with information about Japan and ensured no-one was left behind!!

Datta

Although the weather completely obstructed our view of Fuji, this tour was a good way to get an insight into the mountain and visit some cool places around the area. The 4D ride was definitely a highlight, however the lunch was fairly average. Our guide was knowledgeable, personable, and funny and made it a great trip overall. I will be booking other tours with this company during my stay in Japan!

Chris

amazing trip for only one day good tour guide good food enjoy nature and fuji mountain air that looks pretty on top of the fuji mountain top station by feeling the cold udaha -7. enjoy eating bluebery flavored ice cream and beautiful lake Kawaguguchi. Experience enjoying a 4 dimensional simulator ride to see the sights around the fuji mountain area.

Overall nice schedule. Nice guide who tried to entertain us all time ! Various points to see and 3 of 5 were great, one was average, one was needless. Lunch included was below average for Japan....

I went on this trip during a consecutive 3 day holiday , so the traffic jam was unbearable and we spent most of our time on the bus instead in the actual attraction , however our tour guide Madora was amazing ! She did her best to show us everything there is to see , my halal meal at Ninja village was top notch ! Thankfully Mt.fuji summit was visable and we were able to go up to the 5th station where i took amazing photos , to me lake kawaguchi was the highlight of the tour , i'd love to spend the night there one day !

We went on the tour on a Sunday over a long weekend so the traffic heading to Mount Fuji was bad. What usually takes 90mins became a 3 hours bus ride there. What was meant to be a 9 hour tour became a 12 hour tour because of the traffic jam going and returning. We had Blair as our guide and he did a great job managing our expectations, cracking jokes so that the long hours in the bus were bearable. He was really friendly and helpful. We didn't have much time at Ninja Village and Lake Kawaguchi because of the traffic jam, but we got to see Mount Fuji very clearly from the 5th station. The 4D simulation ride was also good fun although I did feel a bit giddy after watching it (from the visuals). I would still recommend it nonetheless. The buffet lunch was average, and not worth 2,000 Yen in my opinion, but because of the crowds there, it was helpful to have lunch provided and all ready when you arrive (saves a lot of time). If you don't have time to stay over in that area, this tour covers a lot in a day.

Sue

The overall day was fantastic, great guide... very engaging. my only hindrance from a 5 star review was the weather at the final stop. certainly not the fault of the tour. Overall, I recommend this trip... its well worth the yen and your day.
